I'M BACK!!!(WARNING Doctor Who spoilers)

Hello, welcome to the BoyWithAPaintbrush blog! Today I will show you all of the artwork that I have done recently, so let's get started!

I will start with a sontaran (a Doctor Who alien) that I drew around a week ago, because Doctor Who has returned with the final series with Jodie Whittaker as the doctor and if you didn't know I am a very big Doctor Who fan. Here it is:

I will be drawing a monster from Doctor Who with every episodes release, so right now I am working on a new monster, so hopefully I will have two to show you in the next blog.

The second picture I have to show you is a wizard that I drew a couple of days ago, I am also a big fan of the wizarding world, so here it is:

I really don't enjoy drawing faces, I think they are so small and fiddly and detailed, so me being lazy I just drew some vague features of the face. I was trying to make the Wizard look worn so I put holes in his cape and tried to scruff up the clothes, but I think I could of added a bit more shading in both the pictures above, what do you think?

Now for the last, but not least picture for todays vlog, in my art club last week I drew a cat with lots of shading and marking with pencil here it is:

Now, I want to share a tip with you to make your drawing really look real, so here it is. If you look around the nose on my cat I changed the direction of my lines to make the cat look like its popping out the page. What you need to do is to look at the direction of the fur on your picture and try to match that exactly.

I am now going to talk about what I want to do in the new year. So first I want to try sculping with clay, because I really like the idea of being able to hold my work and see it in 3D and I also want to find out how hard it is to add small details to the sculptures. The second thing in my plan is to explore sharing my art on YouTube, I would probably start off with just shorts and time lapses and then you will have to wait and see what I'll do next. We have come to the end of the blog now. Thank you for reading and if you, yes you, have any ideas of what you'd like to see on the website or blog then put them in the comments and remember to share it with your family and friends. BYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
